Elliott Cole, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Athlete from Rochester, Kent
I began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) at 6 years of age and very quickly showed an affinity for the sport. I worked hard to acquire the skills needed to progress and was soon attending classes at the gym several times a week.
After a couple of years, I began entering BJJ competitions and achieved a great deal of success. Travelling the length and breadth of the country, as well as abroad on occasion, I soon built an impressive trophy cabinet, with many gold medals earned on the competition mats.

Across 2018 and 2019, I sometimes competed several times a month and built a good reputation in the BJJ scene not only for my skill and achievements but also for my humility and sense of fair play that I always strive to conduct myself by.
I have been lucky to make many friends on the tournament circuit, often even after beating them up on the mats! I always make sure to console any beaten opponents and give them tips or a pep talk when needed. First and foremost, I am keen to act as an ambassador for my club, the excellent Combat Sports Academy (CSA) in Strood.
I am proud to launch my new website and look forward to telling you the rest of my story.
