It was a good day on the mats as Elliott secured double silver at Grappling Industries London.

Competing in gi and nogi, Elliott faced five other boys in the <125lbs Yellow/Orange Teen 2 divisions. With Grappling Industries offering a round-robin format for divisions of 5 and more, Elliott was guaranteed eight fights which is always a nice prospect when heading to a tournament. More mat time the better!

First up in the gi division, Elliott won all of his round robin matches, two on points and two by submission (armbar and then a kimura). This earned him a place in the final where he faced off against a skilled kid and lost on points. Silver in the bag!

The nogi division was a similar story, with Elliott winning all of his round robin fights and facing off against the same boy in the final. This time, Elliott was caught by a rear naked choke for the loss. Never mind, double silver!
